MURDER CORPORATION - "TAGGED AND BAGGED"

I don't know anything about any of the involved labels and/or distributors (beside "DISPLEASED RECORDS" I even never heard or read any of the names), so don't ask me anything. The same is the case when it comes to the band, never heard anything of them before, and totally dressed in an 'urban terror squad' style you can't see the face of any of the three guys in the band, the names don't tell any story to me after all and I even don't know if the band is still existing anyhow or not. I also can't tell ya if and so what they've done more than this album here. (Maybe I'll find a MySpace link or so of and/or to them, at the end of this review you'll know if I was succesful at all or not.) Oh, yes, it's now-a-days really already a pretty old record, released back in 2000 (or 2001...) but I got it only a week ago from now from a friend with the words: "Here, could be something for ya, so take it, keep it and maybe you'll enjoy it, too." And what shall I say more than: "Thanx!" And yes, I do enjoy it. Fuck, I love it!!! And so I do a review of it anyhow, don't give a damn about how old this one here is already, and I also could imagine that a lot of you guys missed this one here anyhow back in the days and so with reviewing it here and now I do maybe some of ya out there also a huge favor. (Yes,  but maybe I also just need to justify a review of a record that's so old, who knows, haha;-)...) MURDER CORPORATION (judging by the names of the musicians I would say that they come or came from the Netherlands or somewhere out of a country of Scandinavia, but you see, I have not a single clue about it at all) really blewed me away, that's exactly what I needed somehow for quite a while now, disgusting hate and unbeatable defiance, just simply absolutely total war and sheer über-brutality, excessive bloodshed and mercyless battles, deadly fighting and just true ultra-violence set to music!!! Awesome!!! A bloodthirtsy violent, incredible brutal, über-hard and ultra-heavy combination of devastating Death Metal, bonecracking Grindcore and heavy doses of hatefilld, ugly and rebellious Crustcore, that's what ya get from the MURDER CORPORATION here on this one, and all done just excellent. No modern Metalcore and also no modern overly hyped Deathcore bullshit, no stereotypical Death Metal boredom, and also no dispensable clichè Hack'n'Slay Grindcore, no, but the best out of both worlds, Death Metal and Grindcore, cultivated with some of the most brutal Crustcore impressions ever, in the tradition of (for example) U.K.'s DISGUST (you need to own their phenomenal "A WORLD OF NO BEAUTY" masterpiece, if ya still don't have it). Blast Speed parts, D-Beat assaults, skullsmashing grooves and very, very floating beatdown penalizations (not comparable to this typical down tempo Beatdown clichès we have to listen to so often today), incredible high and fat and broad and uncountable tons weighing heavy guitar riff walls, tight and brutal and heavy and punishing totally no prisoners taking rhythm work of bass and drums, here and there some cool guitar solos (but typical Metal solo wack off) that sometimes sound also a little bit like SLAYER and also some very few Trash Metal assault beatings, and total extreme Death Metal/Grindcore grunts that will leave your whole face totally broken, great!!! These guys here know (or knew) how to play, just listen to this inferno, and they also know (or knew) even better how to write great songs that hold beneath the ultra-brutal surface even more great stuff ready for ya to be discovered by you asap. I love it!!! If you can imagine a stand-alone mixture out of HATE ETERNAL (their first- and only good- album, titked "CONQUERING THE THRONE", is meant here), KATAKLYSM (the older- and far better- records of them I mean), NAPALM DEATH, EXTREME NOISE TERROR, DISGUST and some (very few) SLAYER marks then MURDER CORPORATION are your musically promised land, trust me!!! The production sound is great, heavy, brutal and 'fat', but also dirty and earthy and 'pulsatingly alive', also a great job. The very apocalyptic and militant artwork looks great, hm, and it just sucks that the lyrics aren't printed and due to the extreme vokillz ya don't understand that much at all, haha;-), but if ya ask me it's a pretty 'critical' and especially very militant band that's probably not fitting in your whole PC roster anyhow. Very militant, gladiatorial, and also provocative. And that's damn fucking good, and even way better. My personal favorites are "KILL FOR RECREATION", "GUERILLA 2000", "INHUMAN ENDEAVOR", "SURVIVE" (a great NUCLEAR ASSAULT cover version, just btw), "SUPERIOR FIREPOWER", and "INTERSTATE BLOODSHED", but also the other tracks are great stuff. If ya ask me, then to get this record is for everyone who loves brutal and extreme music (of the here above described kind) and still don't have it a damn fucking duty, so try your best to buy it asap from where-ever you may can get it. Great!!! If "BITE YOUR OWN TAIL" wouldn't be a so giant let-down in the context of this beside of this single song just simply outshining stand-alone album than "TAGGED AND BAGGED" would get the highest rate here, but also so it scores in great, point and fact!!! (9 of 10 points)

(Just found the directly above posted link, seems that this one here was the last release of MURDER CORPORATION and so I didn't managed to find any band and/or MySpace site of them somewhere on the web, sorry, but just look there to get their complete (?) discorgraphy to download and if ya like what you hear then go and buy their records from where-ever it's possible to- still- buy them. Ah, by the way, MURDER CORPORATION had been from Sverige- you won't hear it that heavily after all, at least if you think of typical Death Metal from bands, records, and music from there, haha;-)- and some of them play today in DERANGED, just that you know it.)
