STRAY CATS - "CROSS OF LOVE" (***Video***)

Hey folks, today or tonight just a little 'Videos' post for you, for more I don't have the time and also to be honest not the right motivation as well as I'm somehow rapidly became ill and I'm just aimed at bringing my working week tomorrow to a correct end and then going into the weekend and hopefully getting well again. A lot of good and maybe also some not so good at all records are still in the waiting line to be reviewed up here, from AGNOSTIC FRONT, the DROPKICK MURPHYS, STALKER, the BROILERS, JUNGLE TIGERS, FREI.WILD, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, IN FLAMES, CALVIN RUSSELL, DRAGGED INTO SUNLIGHT, RISE AGAINST, STRIBORG and SCURSHAHOR, PUNISHABLE ACT, COURTSHIPS, BRIAN SETZER, EMURE, OUTLAW HEROES STANDING, THE SILVER SHINE and compilaions like the "BUMMER SUMMER" by the HARDCORE COLLECTIVE and "THE R.A.S.H. UNITED ARMY - VOLUME III" by "MUSICA DELLA CALLE", and the reviews will be coming up over the next weeks (and I think so still this very year for sure). Beside this also finally the STARS & STRIPES tribute history post will be up still this year, as well as tributes to the current and new MISTER OLYMPIA 2011, PHIL HEATH, and one of his most promising rivals over the next years, KAI GREENE, are in the work as well as there is at least I hope so still the first and I think so only interview 2011 in the work with the almighty 2 DIAS DE SANGRE coming at us and hopefully it will happen and this hopefully pretty soon. And so before this totally becomes to a 'News' respectively a 'General Informations' post to the clip that is now coming for ya: (Neo-) Rockabilly at its very best and one of my total favorite bands, the almighty STRAY CATS, and they play live in 1990 their furious firy anthem "CROSS OF LOVE" and this is just awesome stuff so check it out and fucking enjoy it!!! That's it for now, yehp, and so now finally back to my T.V. (broadcasting "TRADING PLACES", one of the damn best if not the best movie of all time ever... you see, my favorite one) and relaxing and eating medicine like other chocolates all for the higher good. Cheers!!!

"WE GONNA ROCK THIS TOWN, ROCK IT INSIDE OUT!!!"

Hey chummers (ha, who of ya did use to play "Shadowrun" from time to time when he/she was young?!?), next and last or final post for today, fuckin' work is calling me up way too early and soon tomorrow morning again, fuck it. You now get a nice little 'Videos' post for ya now, and the twist or change in the musical direction is pretty srong (but who cares), from harsh Hardcore sound to (Neo) Rockabilly noice by the legendary and really outstanding STRAY CATS (yes, I love this band), and I've said what this band means to me already before in the earlier post that I've done to pay tribute to this stand-alone any- and everything else outshining legends some weeks (or had it been months) ago, yehp, so I will keep this one here short. Just wanted to say that it's (again) a fantastic song of the STRAY CATS (and nothing else or even less than this) and you get it now in a live version from 1983 and it's again truly just incredible impressive what great and phenomenal musicians they were (and still damn are) and it's just incredible grapping how they've change the song again compared with the studio version of it. Awesome!!! Check it out and enjoy it (maybe as muc as I do enjoy it), and we'll read us asap again. Good night for now and soo more. Cheers & Oi!

The STRAY CATS live in 1981 @ the german WDR "Rockpalast" playing, performing their larger-than-life classic "STORM THE EMBASSY"

Hey folks, I'll keep it really short this time and here and now (even the band that's now coming would deserve a treatment much different than this, but there will some day coming more about them), I'm fucking tired and will now go to bed pretty soon, but now you get a great old live clip of one of my all-time-faves, the almighty STRAY CATS, playing one of my total favorites of them, their incredible larger-than-life classic anthem "STORM THE EMBASSY". Amazing and outstanding band and song, also with awesome lyrics (I will maybe do a special solely post on this topic in the future or maybe I will just add them soon the next days to this post here, time will tell, let yourself be suprised) and a very special spirit that's not so typical for Every-kind-of-Billy-music, but, hey, it was (/is) also a very special and gifted band (and also a great live version - just listen to the breathtaking guitar solo). And all of ya out there who know think "Rockabilly?!? WTF is going on with the good old Manslaughter?!?" - calm down, this all Billy stuff still isn't and will never become 'my music at all', but anyhow the STRAY CATS are just a brilliant and phenomenal and nearly everything else outshining band, I really love them (as well as also the solo works of BRIAN SETZER respectively THE BRIAN SETZER ORCHESTRA and also LEE ROCKER are damn great and brilliant stuff, no doubt about it), hell yeahr, and this song was played and performed live- really live, no playback crap- back then in 1981 at the so called "Rockpalast" (was and still is a german live Rock music show on the public german TV channel WDR), and yes, that's all, just enjoy it and then sleep well, dream even better and a good night to all of ya outta there. Read more soon!!! Cheers & Oi!
